Recognizing the importance of fostering a safe and respectful environment in the rehearsal room, B is currently training as an intimacy and fight coordinator, working to ensure that all performers on and off stage can feel educated and comfortable. Artists should not have to suffer for their art; we can continue to tell difficult and moving stories without putting performers in harm’s way. B is currently certified in unarmed stage combat and is working towards intimacy coordination and armed stage combat certification through the Society of American Fight Directors.
